Purple Wall Art

Purple is Tim's dusk colour, the point where warm and cool meet. It appears in the quieter abstracts, in Afterglow and Winter Solstice, and it gives the animals a strange, storybook light. The smallest of the four colour collections, and the most atmospheric. Browse all colours.

Purple on your wall

Purple asks for a calm wall. It does its best work in bedrooms and reading corners, in rooms with evening light rather than midday sun. Against white it reads as violet; against grey it turns towards lilac. Medium sizes suit it better than the very largest.

From print to original

Purple runs through the collection mostly as canvas prints in several sizes, alongside one-off originals such as On The Verge. Several purple works, including Never Say Goodbye and Winter Solstice, also appear in the blue collection. They are paintings that sit between the two. More in abstract art, in animals and in original paintings.
