About This Artwork
On the Verge is an original abstract painting built from deep blue, violet and near-black, illuminated by intense flashes of red and orange.
Broad, layered brushstrokes create a composition that seems to shift between depth and surface. Dark passages partially conceal brighter areas beneath them, while the glowing warm colour at the centre draws the eye into the painting.
The title On the Verge captures that sense of tension: something is there, just beneath the surface, on the verge of appearing or changing.

Prints are made to order by my professional print partner, usually within 1–2 business days (up to 4–5 during busy periods), and are produced close to their destination whenever possible.
Original artworks are carefully packed by me and dispatched from the Netherlands within 3 business days. Delivery times depend on your location, and tracking is provided when available.
Canvas and paper prints can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Original work can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Please always contact me before returning anything so I can provide the correct return address and instructions. Returns sent without contacting me first may not reach the correct location and may therefore not be eligible for a refund.
