For shops & licensing

Opinionated animals. May cause beverage spillage.

I'm Tim Hupkes (she/her), a Dutch artist. I paint animals with a point of view: cats with a verdict, owls that are not impressed, hares in racing cars. Next to the originals and art prints in this shop, my work is available for licensing, and wholesale for shops is in preparation.

Licensing

My designs work on greeting cards, mugs, puzzles, calendars, stationery, textiles and homeware. I license per product category and region; the copyright stays with me.

  • My painting Universal was licensed by Berendsohn AG (Hamburg) for a mug and coaster in their COOL range.
  • Featured by Artsy Shark in 2014 ("The Art of Whimsy") and in their 2022 Artist Showcase.
  • Working artist since 2003. Trained in art direction and copywriting at the Willem de Kooning Academy, and at the Art Licensing Academy.
  • High-resolution files and a portfolio PDF are available on request.
