Since 2006
Over the past twenty years my work has been licensed, commissioned, exhibited, auctioned and written about. Below is a selection, with a source wherever one can still be found online.
Berendsohn, a German maker of corporate gifts based in Hamburg, licensed my painting Universal for two years. From 2010 it was produced on mugs and matching coasters. For several years Berendsohn also presented me on their website as one of their designers.
A commission from Bibliotheek Rotterdam for Children's Book Week 2006: the illustrations for the poster, flyers and programme booklet of the Kinderboekenweekfeest at the Central Library on 8 October 2006.
Participant in the Holland Casino Kunstplein in Amsterdam in 2008. My painting was sold at the exhibition that followed.
An art auction at Landgoed Olaertsduyn in Rockanje in 2010, where my painting On Top of the World was sold.
A selection of exhibitions in galleries, libraries and public buildings in the Netherlands.
Artsy Shark featured my work in The Art of Whimsy, a profile on colour, humour and the animals that populate my canvases.
An interview in the Algemeen Dagblad (Voorne-Putten edition) of 12 August 2006: 'Nu durf ik mijn werk te laten zien' (Now I dare to show my work), about my paintings, my illustrations and my animals.
Veeteelt, the Dutch magazine for dairy farmers, devoted a page in its series Koe en kunst (Cow and art) to my work: 'Beeld- en woordgrap' (A visual and verbal pun), issue 21, November 2006.
Regional newspapers have written about me and my animal art over the years, including an interview in Groot Hellevoet in 2018.
