About This Artwork
By The Sea is an original abstract painting dominated by intense blues, turquoise and violet, punctuated by deep crimson red.
Layer upon layer of expressive marks creates a surface that feels almost architectural in places, while the shifting blues suggest water, depth and movement. The flashes of dark red cut through the cooler palette, adding tension and intensity. The title hints at the sea without turning the painting into a literal landscape, leaving plenty of room for your own interpretation.

Fine art paper prints are giclée printed on heavyweight, softly textured archival paper. Framed prints come with handcrafted wooden frames and protective glazing.
Original artworks are created by Tim using artist-quality papers, canvas, coloured pencil, ink, watercolour or acrylic, depending on the piece.

Prints are made to order by my professional print partner, usually within 1–2 business days (up to 4–5 during busy periods), and are produced close to their destination whenever possible.
Original artworks are carefully packed by me and dispatched from the Netherlands within 3 business days. Delivery times depend on your location, and tracking is provided when available.
Canvas and paper prints can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Original work can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Please always contact me before returning anything so I can provide the correct return address and instructions. Returns sent without contacting me first may not reach the correct location and may therefore not be eligible for a refund.
