Abstract painting in yellow as a field of movement
In ‘Yellow I’, the painting unfolds as a surface where colour never settles, but moves across the canvas in a continuous play of appearing and disappearing. Yellow dominates, but never as a single mass. It opens up, condenses, recedes, and returns each time in a different form. The composition seems to form in the moment.
